The Leinster medical team are monitoring the fitness of Jonathan Sexton and Luke Fitzgerald ahead of Saturday’s Heineken Cup round six clash with Montpellier Hérault.
Sexton rolled his ankle in last Sunday’s victory over Glasgow Warriors, but completed the match with heavy strapping.
The outhalf watched Monday's Leinster training session at UCD from the sidelines, but at the moment all indications suggest that he will play on Saturday.
Fitzgerald missed the clash with Glasgow due to a combination of a glute/minor neck strain; however, he is also expected to be fit for Saturday’s encounter.
The Dublin-based province will also be boosted by the expected return from injury of forwards Kevin McLaughlin (neck), Richardt Strauss (facial) and Steven Sykes (hamstring), who should all be in the selection mix this week.
