Marcus Horan returns to the Munster squad for the first time since mid-October, for the Heineken Cup Round 6 game against Northampton in Thomond Park on Friday night.

Horan is included in a 28 strong squad named by coach Tony McGahan. Apart from Horan, Mick O'Driscoll, Stephen Archer, Billy Holland and Tom Gleeson are added to the match day 23 who were on duty v Treviso in Italy last weekend.

David Wallace took a full part in both the morning and afternoon training sessions after retiring with a slight calf injury against Treviso.
