Having come through yesterday's final squad training session unscathed Mike Sherry will start for Munster in tomorrow's Heineken Cup game against Racing Metro at Thomond Park.

Sherry had been listed as replacement when the team was announced at yesterday's offficial 12 noon deadline yesterday ahead of Munster afternoon session.

Once Sherry got through that session with a clean bill of health it was decided he would start ahead of Damien Varley.

Munster: F Jones; D Howlett capt, K Earls, J Downey, S Zebo; Ian Keatley, C Murray; D Kilcoyne, M Sherry, BJ Botha; D O'Callaghan, D Ryan; P O'Mahony, T O'Donnell, J Coughlan. Replacements: D Varley, W du Preez, J Ryan, B Holland, P Butler, D Williams, JJ Hanrahan, C Laulala.
