Trimble ruled out for three months

Andrew Trimble has been ruled out for up to three months after having surgery on a finger injury.

Trimble suffered fracture dislocation of a finger on his left hand during Ireland's defeat to New Zealand last month.

He returned to training with Ulster this week and following an assessment by the club, a decision was made for Trimble to go under the knife.
