Gordon D'Arcy a doubt for Triple Crown clash

Gordon D'Arcy remains a real doubt for Ireland's Triple Crown decider against Scotland as he attempts to recover from a dead leg.

The Ireland inside centre didn't appear with the squad for Monday's light training session and is unlikely to train before Thursday.

Loosehead prop Cian Healy is another injury concern as he is nursing a bruised shoulder but he should be fine for the Croke Park farewell.

Keith Earls and David Wallace are also carrying minor knocks but both players took part in today's training session.

Earls left the game in the final minute with tight leg muscles while Wallace suffered a scratched eye and also had treatment for a leg injury.

D'Arcy limped off after a heavy collision with Jamie Roberts during the first half of Ireland's 27-12 victory over Wales on Saturday.

The Leinster man bravely got to his feet after being injured and made the next hit but he was not able to continue. Afterwards, it was confirmed that he had suffered deep bruising above his left knee and the injury is currently being monitored and treated by Ireland's medical team.

Ireland will secure their fifth Triple Crown in seven seasons if they beat Scotland in the final game at Croke Park before moving back to the Aviva Stadium next term.
