De Villiers overlooked in Munster

South African centre Jean de Villiers has been left out of the Munster team for tomorrow night's Heineken Cup match against Perpignan in Thomond Park.

Instead, Keith Earls will partner Lifemi Mafi in the centre, with Denis Hurley named ahead on Ian Dowling on the left wing.

Jerry Flannery has not recovered from an achilles injury in time and his place is taken by Denis Fogarty.

Paul O'Connell, Denis Leamy and David Wallace all return following injury.

Munster team v Perpingnan in the Heineken Cup at Thomond Park, Friday at 8pm:

Paul Warwick, Doug Howlett, Keith Earls, Lifemi Mafi, Denis Hurley, Ronan O'Gara, Tomas O'Leary, Wian du Preez, Denis Fogarty, John Hayes, Donnacha O'Callaghan, Paul O'Connell, Alan Quinlan, David Wallace and Denis Leamy.

Replacements: D Varley, Darragh Hurley, T Buckley, M O'Driscoll, D Ryan, N Ronan, P Stringer, J de Villiers
