Connacht 49-3 Dax

Connacht claimed a place in the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup with an impressive victory over French side Dax at the Sportsground.

The Irish side bounced back from their worst European defeat last week at London Irish to claim a bonus point victory and grab the runner's up spot in Group 1.

Fionn Carr and Niva Ta'auso both scored twice at Connacht ran in seven tries in the 49-3 win.

Sean Cronin, Liam Bibo and Gavin Duffy also scored in a fine display.
