Leamy set to see specialist

Denis Leamy will see a specialist this afternoon to determine the seriousness of the knee injury he sustained in the win over the Scarlets on Friday night in Llanelli.

The back-row forward suffered the knee injury late in the second half of the game at Parc Y Stradey and is definitely ruled out of Munster's Heineken Cup back-to-back games with ASMClermont Auvergne.

South African Justin Melck who had originally been signed on a short term contract as back row cover was due to return home at the weekend but now remains on until the end of December.
