Toast Of New York is on course to bid for a spectacular Derby double in the Investec-sponsored feature at Epsom on 7 June.
Jamie Osborne's charge landed the UAE Derby at Meydan back in March, completing a remarkable graduation from two wide-margin wins at Wolverhampton to bag over £700,000 in the Group Two prize in Dubai.
Toast Of New York did have the option of tackling last Saturday's Kentucky Derby but Osborne and owner Michael Buckley felt two international trips in quick succession would have been asking too much and quickly ruled it out.
Having paid £8,000 to add Toast Of New York to the Epsom field last month, the premier Classic is now firmly on the agenda with few regrets about skipping a run at Churchill Downs.
"The plan is to go to Epsom. There's a month to go but we are training him for that race and that's the plan as long as he's working well, is in good form and we're happy with him," Osborne said.
"A racecourse gallop is a possibility. We might go to Epsom for Breakfast with the Stars or we might just take him away somewhere else for a gallop - those are the kind of plans we make as we go along really.
"I don't really have any regrets about Kentucky. It would have come too soon for him .
"He's had the best part of a month off galloping, he's just getting back to it now, but you can see he needed it.
"He's fresh and needs some work putting on him but he has had a nice break."
Toast Of New York is a general 25-1 chance for the Derby.
