John Gosden's unbeaten colt Kingman heads 10 entries in the Aon Greenham Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.

The Khalid Abdullah-owned three-year-old has a tall reputation and won both his starts as a juvenile, with the second victory coming in the Group Three Solario Stakes at Sandown.

The son of Invincible Spirit is priced between 8-1 and 5-1 for the Qipco 2000 Guineas and will be given a stern test in this Classic trial over seven furlongs.

His rivals include Night Of Thunder, who is also out to stake his claim for Newmarket. The Richard Hannon-trained colt took both his races as a two-year-old in promising style.

Paul Cole saddles Berkshire, winner of the Chesham and Royal Lodge Stakes in his first season.

Kevin Ryan lets Gimcrack hero Astaire take his chance while No Leaf Clover, Supplicant,

Golden Town, Lat Hawill, Master Carpenter and Windfast complete the field.
