Martin Keighley is planning to give Annacotty one more run before gearing up for a crack at the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

The five-year-old notched a Grade One victory on St Stephen's Day as he landed the Kauto Star Novices' Chase - a race better known as the Feltham - at Kempton.

Annacotty had only managed one win in five previous chase starts, but Keighley thought the application of blinkers had worked the oracle for his charge.

"He'd been a bit disappointing a couple of times, but the blinkers made a big difference," he said.

"The RSA is now the obvious aim with him and I'd like him to have one more run, preferably in mid-February somewhere, that would be ideal I think."
