Mail De Bievre has been supplemented for the Sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday.

The eight-year-old was a useful performer in France and made a pleasing start for new trainer Tom George when fifth in the Denman Chase on his British bow.

He raced very keenly over three miles that day and George believes the two-mile trip will be in Mail De Bievre's favour.

The Slad handler tweeted: "Mail De Bievre has been supplemented for the Champion Chase.

"The drop back in trip should be to his advantage, making use of his long stride and jumping.

"He has delighted us with his work since his reappearance at Newbury last month."
