Wetherby receives green light

This afternoon's meeting at Wetherby has passed a precautionary inspection and goes ahead as scheduled.
Clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson needed to assess conditions shortly before 8.30am given a forecast for heavy rain after their St Stephen's Day fixture.
Although the track sustained six millimetres of rainfall on Wednesday, the Yorkshire venue remained dry overnight.
The going is currently heavy, soft in places.
Sanderson said: "The ground has taken the rain well - 6mm is admittedly all we probably could have taken - so we're going for it.
"There's nothing of any great significance to come in terms of rain today, so we look fine."
