Wednesday's meeting at Redcar has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Sixty millimetres of rainfall in the last 36 hours put paid to any chances of racing at the Cleveland circuit. Clerk of the course James Sanderson initially called an inspection for 10.30am, but was able to make an early decision in light of the dire weather.
He said: "We have abandoned - we are waterlogged in numerous places and we still have driving rain now. We are expecting the rain to continue for most of today so the track won't have any time to recover and it was a clear decision to abandon."
