Richie McGrath is set for a spell on the sidelines after breaking his collar bone at Uttoxeter on Sunday.
Tipperary-born McGrath took a heavy fall from the John Mackie-trained Bureaucrat in the 32Red Handicap Hurdle in unusual circumstances.
The horse appeared to jump the third-last flight without a problem but stumbled a few strides after it, throwing McGrath to the floor.
"I've broken my collar bone but it could be a lot worse," said McGrath.
"I'll just have to see how it goes, I hope I won't be out too long.
"Usually I'm a pretty quick healer but you just never know, every injury is different.
"Hopefully it will be no more than three or four weeks."
