Great Heavens put up an impressive display in the bet365 Lancashire Oaks.

The lightly raced and rapidly progressive filly, a full sister to King George winner Nathaniel, added the Group Two contest to her haul wiht a convincing display.

Rab Havlin set out to make it a stamina test on the John Gosden-trained 11-4 favourite and she duly obliged to make it three wins from as many starts this season.

Shimmering Surf tried hard to keep tabs on Great Heavens from the outset but was unable to make an impression in the final furlong and was beaten five lengths at the line.

Set To Music was third, a further length and a quarter away.

"She keeps improving, she was getting 13lb from the older horses so I thought I would make it a good gallop and make them pay for it," said Havlin.

"The family improve with age so I'm sure there's more to come. She galloped all the way to the line and I eased her up."
