Folkestone meeting to go ahead
Updated: Tuesday, 31 Jan 2012 07:45
Tuesday afternoon's jumps meeting at Folkestone goes ahead after a 7.30am precautionary inspection was cancelled.
Officials at the Kent circuit faced a straightforward decision as overnight temperatures reached zero degrees.
The going on the chase course is good, while the ground on the hurdles track is described as good to soft, soft in places.
Folkestone clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross said: "It's all good. There is no frost and the track is perfectly raceable."
