Stars will miss King George

John Oxx has made the widely expected decision to miss Saturday week's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes with Sea The Stars.
The brilliant 2000 Guineas, Derby and Eclipse winner is likely to have three more runs this season and it is probable he will appear next in the Juddmonte International at York on 18 August.
Oxx is planning more meetings with owner Christopher Tsui and other connections but the trainer's wife Caitriona said: ‘The first decision made is that he's not going for the King George.
‘John will have to have further discussions with the client before making any more decisions.’
