Kerrin McEvoy's good run continued at Ascot when he secured a double on Acts Of Grace in the Princess Royal PricewaterhouseCoopers Stakes after taking the opener on Al Qasi.

Revelling in the easy conditions as several of her rivals struggled, the 14-1 chance was in command entering the final furlong and stayed on strongly to hold Gower Song and her stablemate Bunood by a length and a quarter and three lengths.

John Dunlop is keen to run Acts Of Grace in another Pattern race following this Group Three win. The Arundel trainer said: 'She's really come to herself in the last couple of months, she stays well and the soft ground helped her.

'In all probability she'll go abroad next for the Prix Royallieu at Longchamp next month.'

Dunlop was also responsible for Bunood, but the disappointment of the race was Scottish Sage who was being ridden some way out and although making headway early in the straight had nothing more to give in the final furlong.
