Ballycasey will try to make amends for an untimely tumble at Fairyhouse recently when he takes on six rivals in the Growise Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown on Tuesday.

The Willie Mullins-trained grey came down at the second last when still going well in the lead in the Powers Gold Cup, letting in Rebel Fitz to take Grade One glory.

His stablemates Mozoltov, who unseated his rider at the eighth fence in the Fairyhouse race, and Djakadam are also in the line-up.

Ballycasey already has one Grade One triumph to his name this season. That came in the Dr PJ Moriarty Chase at Leopardstown in February and the runner-up that day, Don Cossack, renews rivalry.

Carlingford Lough, Letter Of Credit and Morning Assembly complete the septet.
