Seabass, who claimed third in the 2012 Grand National, will return to action in the coming weeks having been off the track since June.
The Ted Walsh-trained 11-year-old was sent off the 11-2 favourite for the Aintree showpiece last year, but he could only manage a disappointing 13th.
He was last seen finishing sixth in a Grade Two chase at Auteuil in June and after suffering from a slight bout of colic since, the son of Turtle Island is nearing a return.
Walsh told RTÉ Racing: "He is going to run maybe in a month's time.
"He got a bit held up. He got a slight touch of a colic before Christmas and that set him back a bit.
"He was going to run around Christmas time, but he is just getting over that now and he is back to himself.
"I hope to run him in three weeks to a month's time and he is in good nick."
