Le Vent D'Antan is set to make his belated jumping bow at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

Liz Doyle's youngster was so impressive when winning on his racecourse debut at Leopardstown last January he was sent off joint-favourite for the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival.

The five-year-old was not disgraced in finishing seventh, but has not been seen so far this season after suffering from ulcers.

Doyle said: "He's an intended runner and I've been very happy with him the last couple of weeks.

"Fairyhouse is a good place for him to start."

Le Vent D'Antan is one of 30 entries for the two-mile Fairyhouse Schooling Races Maiden Hurdle, with Noel Meade's Zigger Zagger and the Willie Mullins-trained Daneking potential opponents.
