Pink Coat kept Fairyhouse favourite-backers warm as the grey, owned and trained by Dessie Hughes, ran out a ready winner of the Bar One Racing Handicap Hurdle.
The six-year-old gelding got the better of a duel with Maxim Gorky from the second last and the well-backed 5-2 shot came home two lengths to the good under Bryan Cooper.
Top-weight and veteran Captain Cee Bee ran his usual gallant race to take third, some eight lengths behind.
"He's gone up a stone since he won at Listowel. He got 9lb for winning at Listowel and bits and pieces for being placed since," said Hughes.
"I thought he'd gone up too much, and this was a different class today. Bryan came in after Naas (over two and a half miles) and said he'd love to ride him in a strongly run two-mile race.
"He'd need to improve but we might look at the Boylesports.com Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown in January."
Sraid Padraig just held the late thrust of Cause Of Causes to land in the Ballyhack Handicap Chase.
The Tony Martin-trained seven-year-old had a handy lead turning for home and looked to have secured success with a good leap at the last for Danny Mullins.
However, he was badgered on the run-in by Cause Of Causes who just failed by a nose to haul back the 14-1 shot.
Martin said: "He's a lovely big horse and we've always liked him. He ran a lovely race when he won (at Limerick) last year but he's needed all the time he's got since.
"Things just didn't go the right way for him after he won."
Mullins then guided 5-4 favourite Foxrock home in the same Barry Connell colours for trainer Ted Walsh.
The jockey's uncle, champion trainer Willie Mullins, bagged a treble through Upazo, Smashing and Shaneshill.
Upazo (11-4) powering to victory in the 25,000 Euros Tote Pick 6 Guarantee Maiden Hurdle under Paul Townend and Andrew Lynch steered Smashing (2-1) home in the Fairyhouse On Facebook Rated Hurdle.
Amateur Patrick Mullins completed his father's three-timer with an 11-length romp on Shaneshill (4-6 favourite) in the concluding bumper.
Townend had a second winner on the Tom Foley-trained Followmeuptocarlow (10-1) in the Premier Jump Racing Weekend Handicap Hurdle.
