Trainer Eric McNamara is confident Questions Answered will be a fitter horse than on his seasonal debut when he runs in the Ladbrokes Munster National Handicap Chase at Limerick on Sunday.
The eight-year-old chestnut, who finished third in the sought-after handicap over three miles in 2012, turned in a most encouraging display at Listowel last month when fourth in the Kerry National - his first start since April.
McNamara had been keen to get an outing into Questions Answered earlier this summer, but the ground went against him.
The County Limerick handler said: "He came out of Listowel very good, which was a grand effort considering it was his first run back.
"We wanted to get him out before that, but the ground was too quick for him and we couldn't chance it.
"The ground looks like it'll be OK at the weekend and we're hoping for a little bit of improvement from Listowel.
"He's gone up 1lb for finishing fourth, which isn't ideal, but his weight doesn't look too bad.
"He's certainly got a chance."
