Silver Tassie hit the crossbar at the Listowel Festival and has an opportunity for compensation in the Albany Hurdle at Navan.

Noel Meade's gelding broke his duck when hosing up at Downpatrick and then had his sights raised, but still gave the well-regarded Lots Of Memories a fright over two and a half miles.

The extra couple of furlongs here will stand him in good stead, but stamina is Landero's forte and he is a threat, despite top weight, while at the other end of the weights, Diyala is an interesting recruit off the Flat for the in-form Gordon Elliott stable.

Meade's Duplicate Daughter hasn't done anything of real note in three starts, but all that could change now she steps out of maiden company for the Drogheda Handicap Hurdle on an initial mark of 87.

Donatis Comet and Fantasy King both let favourite-backers down on their most recent appearances and lock horns in the opening Navan Maiden Hurdle at 1.20pm.

The same can be said for Slane Maiden Hurdle rivals Minella Fiveo and The Shaughraun, while Top Spin couldn't justify market support on his return to obstacles at Sligo but is entitled to be sharper for the Kells Handicap Hurdle.

The handicapper has caught up with Green Thirty Two now and he paid for his profitable summer when disappointing at Galway earlier in the month.

He tries to recapture his sparkle in the Racing Again Wednesday 9th October Handicap Hurdle, but last-start winners Big Generator and Grove Field make more appeal, as does the model of consistency that is Jack The Hat.

Goldboy attempts to better his recent Cork second in the Garlow Cross (Pro/Am) Flat Race for champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins in a race in which his Flat counterpart Aidan O'Brien launches the career of the stoutly bred King Leon.
