Muzak ran out an impressive winner at Ballinrobe last month and he is likely to be popular with the punters in the Guinness Handicap Chase, the feature event at Galway on Wednesday.

The consistent 10-year-old is a regular at Ballybrit and is rarely far away, so a 7lb rise for his latest success is unlikely to put off his supporters.

Laganbank is used to mixing in good company and, representing Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh, he should make sure John Monroe's inmate doesn't have it all his own way.

Fosters Cross won the race 12 months ago but has struggled on his latest two chase starts.

Mullins and Walsh also have strong claims in the Ryans Cleaning Chase courtesy of Sin Palo.

Following a good effort in defeat behind Toner D'Oudaries, he is expected to be in the firing line again, but he has to give 7lb to Bob Lingo despite the latter being rated 13lb higher on official figures.

Andrew McNamara has been amongst the winner of late and could add to his tally when he partners Hidden Cyclone in the City Publicans Charity Hurdle.

The eight-year-old gelding found only Rathlin too good in a hot chase here in July and it is very interesting to see him returned to hurdles, over which he is five from six and a dual Grade Two winner.

However, Captain Arceus blew away the cobwebs when narrowly touched off at Bellewstown last month and will certainly be no pushover.

The seven-race card gets underway at 4.30 with the Mervue Maiden Hurdle, in which Donatis Comet bids to build on the two silver medals he has picked up since tackling obstacles, while the closing www.galwayraces.com Flat Race looks a good opportunity for Dont Tell No One to build on a promising debut success over the same course and distance.
