Feile Na Mban has made a favourable impression in her short career to date and takes the next step at Gowran Park in the Next Meeting At Gowran Park October 4th & 5th Handicap (6.15).

Jim Bolger pitched the daughter of New Approach into Listed company for her first taste of competitive action and she did the Coolcullen handler proud, finishing fourth to subsequent Irish Oaks runner-up Venus De Milo at Naas.

She then landed the odds in bloodless fashion in a Leopardstown maiden and now aims to prove that her initial rating of 94 is a lenient one.

Feile Na Mban gets weight off recent C & D runner-up Encrypted Message, but has to concede 4lb to Ballydoyle representative Heirloom, who drops back in distance after letting down favourite-backers at Leopardstown.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien launches the careers of a couple of youngsters in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Median Auction Maiden (4.15), the most interesting of which is Craftsman, who cost over €200,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to David Wachman's useful sprinter Royal Empress.

Wachman fits a visor to Ruler Of France for the Rooftop Restaurant At Gowran Park Nursery (4.45), where he comes across fellow handicap debutants Ubiquitous Mantle, Futurity and Green Tag.

Pastiches is also applied with headgear - the cheekpieces are on for the Follow Gowran Park On Facebook Fillies Maiden (5.15) - and she has most to fear from Fulminata and Fire And Flame.

Art Scene left all previous form behind when triumphing at Tipperary a couple of weeks ago and has an 11lb rise to contend with in the Kilkenny Handicap (5.45), while Goresbridge Handicap (6.45) contender Table Forty Six is up 8lb for her Wexford success.

In the last race of the evening, Grecian Tiger has smart bumper form under his belt and Dermot Weld switches him to the level for the www.gowranpark.ie Maiden (7.15).
