Niall Moran is eyeing the Group Three Desmond Stakes at Leopardstown next month as a possible target for Dont Bother Me.

The Sligo trainer is giving the Dark Angel colt a break after a busy first half to the campaign during which the horse contested such races as the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown.

Moran decided to let Dont Bother Me have an easy time following his latest effort at Royal Ascot, where he was a respectable seventh to Gale Force Ten in the Jersey Stakes.

"He's having a bit of a break and we're going to run back in August," said Moran.

"There's a Group Three race for him over a mile at Leopardstown."
