Mooqtar returns to action in the Fairyhouse Sunday Market Race at the County Meath venue on Wednesday.

Big things were predicted for the son of Invasor after his sparkling debut at Leopardstown last autumn, where Irish 2000 Guineas hero Magician was one of those trailing in his wake.

He hasn't been seen in competitive action since, but a couple of Group Three entries suggest he is showing all the right signs at home and this appears a perfect point of return for him.

He gets weight from his elders so may have most to fear from Tennessee Wildcat, who kept good company as a juvenile but was a well-beaten fourth behind Gale Force Ten at Dundalk back in April.

Ealain Aibrean's Down Royal performance was too bad to be true and there will be plenty who keep the faith as Dermot Weld reaches for the blinkers ahead of the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Maiden at 6.00.

Weld also applies headgear to Lineman, who takes in the Family Day On 14th July At Fairyhouse Maiden less than a week after his Tipperary introduction.

Paynes Find is another to make a quick reappearance in the Motor Neurone Fun Run At Fairyhouse On 29th June Handicap and does so on the back of a course and distance triumph, when he had the reopposing C'Est Ma Souer and Granny On Fire behind him.

Smoke Charger and Tsar Paul have had even less time to get over their most recent exertions - they were second and third respectively at Roscommon on Monday - but renew rivalry in the Follow Fairyhouse On Twitter Handicap.

Hurricane Sky goes for a hat-trick in the Ratoath Handicap, while Benbecula gave Johnny Murtagh his first winner as a trainer at Tramore and attempts to follow up in the Special Group Rates At Fairyhouse Handicap.
