Racing at Leopardstown goes ahead as scheduled this afternoon after the track passed an inspection.
The showpiece card, which features the BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle, gets under way at 12.25.
The going is soft to heavy, soft in places on the hurdles and bumper track, and heavy on the chase course, which had been the main cause of concern.
Racing and operations director Nessa Joyce said: "We are going to run all eight races, the first five being the hurdle races and then the bumper.
"We had four millimetres of rain and while it came at between 5am and 6am it didn't have any impact.
"The hurdles track is still very fresh ground.
"While it's not going to be a pleasant day according to the forecast, windy and cold with the chance of passing rain, there's nothing significant."
