Caomihe’s Delight (1:05 Limerick)

Caomihe’s Delight made a pleasing introduction to her hurdling career when incurring a narrow defeat to the gutsy Oscars Joy at Fairyhouse two weeks ago.

Her ability to handle bottomless ground and her solid, if unspectacular, form racing left-handed makes her very much the one to beat in a heat where Curvacious could outrun her massive odds.

Taquin Du Seuil (2.45 Newbury)

Quotes of 2-1 look generous about Jonjo O’Neill’s Taquin Du Seuil in the Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle, a race the trainer and Tony McCoy have teamed up to land three times in the past.

The French import showed his best form over staying trips on the Flat and ran with immense credit to finish second, conceding weight, to the hugely-promising My Tent Or Yours over a wholly inadequate two miles at Ascot.

He followed up his hurdling debut with a convincing win in testing conditions at Sandown in a small, but select field.

Expect him to displace Clondaw Kaempfer for favouritism come race time.
