Defending champion Emulous is one of 11 fillies and mares declared for the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.

Dermot Weld's five-year-old was a brilliant winner of the Group One contest 12 months ago, but was well beaten when sent off favourite for the Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot on her last start.

Henry Cecil's multiple Pattern-race winner Chachamaidee bids for her first top-level success, and is joined on the trip from Britain by the Mick Channon-trained Laugh Out Loud.

Shane Foley interestingly takes the mount on Alanza for John Oxx.

Alanza's owner, the Aga Khan, recently terminated the contract of retained jockey Johnny Murtagh, who instead partners Laugh Out Loud.

David Wachman's Duntle takes a deserved jump in class following victories in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot and the Desmond Stakes at the Curragh.

Aidan O'Brien saddles After, Ishvana and Maybe, while Ballybacka Lady, Marvada and La Collina complete the field.
