Willie Mullins secured his 100th winner of the season in record time as Soll landed the odds at Down Royal.

The Irish champion trainer's career continues to go from strength to strength and this was another notable milestone as he achieved his fastest ever century.

The victory was not unexpected, with Soll sent off the 2-5 favourite to go one place better than his chasing debut second at Punchestown on New Year's Eve in Down Royal's NI Hotels Federation Beginners Chase.

Ruby Walsh sent the giant seven-year-old to the front from the outset and he galloped his rivals into submission, holding off Harpsy Cord by four and a half lengths.

Noel Meade's Fickle Fortune (8-11 favourite) looks bound for greater things after making full use of her weight and sex allowances to score on debut under Nina Carberry in the Dark Horse Cafe At Down Royal INH Flat Race.

Conor Maxwell brought Amber Knight (6-1) with a well-judged ride to beat Mister First in the Follow Down Royal On Facebook Handicap Chase.

Despite competing from 4lbs out of the weights, Darrell Deacon's charge ran out a comfortable three-length winner.

Code Of The West defied top weight in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase.

Trained by Christy Roche and ridden by Jody McGarvey, the 7-2 shot cruised to the front two out but ultimately just held on by three parts of a length from the rallying Vardas Supreme.

Station Lane (33-1) came from another county to edge out Beef To The Heels in the Sean Graham Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle.

Davy Russell looked to have the race sewn up on Beef To The Heels, but an untidy jump at the last left his mount flat-flooted and the mare Station Lane capitalised by flying home to score by a head.

Followmeuptocarlow (10-1) got off the mark under Bryan Cooper in the Bet With The Tote Handicap Hurdle, while the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Novice Handicap Hurdle went to 5-1 chance Mark Me Up.
