Cee Bee to wait for Leopardstown

Captain Cee Bee will head for the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown on 27 December after trainer Eddie Harty elected to miss Wednesday's rescheduled John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase.

A Grade One winner over hurdles and fences, Captain Cee Bee has raced once so far this season, landing the Poplar Square at Naas at the end of October.

Harty said: 'He will probably wait for the two-mile chase at Leopardstown at Christmas. It's getting a bit close to Christmas now, and I was a bit worried about him running over two and a half on what could be heavy ground.'
