Maguire targets Festival spoils

Let Yourself Go will spearhead a strong Adrian Maguire raid on next week's Punchestown Festival.
The progressive six-year-old won a point-to-point before scoring in a bumper and over timber under Rules this season.
County Cork-based Maguire, responsible for handling Denman's early career, is now relishing the chance to unleash his highly-regarded gelding in top-flight company in the Land Rover Champion Novice Hurdle on Friday week.
'Let Yourself Go will run in the two-and-a-half-mile Grade One novice race and I'm really looking forward to him,' said Maguire.
'He seems in great form and it will tell us a lot more about him.
We have big plans for him in the future and he's a very, very nice horse.
'He'll have a break after Punchestown and then we'll look forward to him going chasing - he's an out-and-out chaser really.'
Maguire is also likely to run Kerryhead Windfarm at the Festival, with the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle top of the agenda.
Prior to an encouraging recent spin on the level, the 10-year-old just got the better of subsequent Grand National runner-up King Johns Castle at Clonmel.
'He's more than likely going to run in the World Hurdle and I've been very happy with him,' continued the trainer.
'I was very pleased with his run on the Flat at Tipperary the last day, he seems in great form and the drier the ground the better he'll like it.
'I wouldn't read too much into the form of his win beforehand but he's in good heart and he's a fresh horse so we hope he'll run well.'
Also under consideration for Punchestown is Optimus Prime, a two-time winner this term with a couple of potential targets over the bigger obstacles.
Maguire said: 'If Optimus Prime does go we'll probably go for a handicap but we're still monitoring the situation with him.
"He seems in great form after Tramore but we'll play it by ear with him as he's a horse to look forward to.
'He's run on every type of ground but he is by Anshan and he'd appreciate a better surface.'
