Margot pleases ahead of Abbaye run

Michael Bell was pleased with Margot Did as the filly put the finishing touches to her preparation for the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp on Sunday.
The impressive winner of the Nunthorpe Stakes at York in August was in action on her own on the Watered Gallop in Newmarket on Wednesday.
Her work left Bell thoroughly satisfied but with Hayley Turner forced to miss the race through a broken ankle, Jamie Spencer will become the only other jockey to have ridden her in what will be her 14th race.
"Margot Did looks in good order and she now looks set to take her chance in the Prix de l'Abbaye in France on Sunday," Bell told his website.
"Hopefully she can show the form that she showed in the Nunthorpe with her new jockey on board."
Margot Did is around the 5-1 mark for the five-furlong Group One.
