Tamayuz confirmed himself a miler of the highest order with a deeply impressive success in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.

The Freddie Head-trained three-year-old shot to prominence with victory in the Prix Jean Prat last time out and confirmed that to be no fluke in this Group One contest.

Tracking his pacemaker Racinger from the off, Davy Bonilla asked his mount to quicken a fair way out and the response was immediate as he stretched clear.


Natagora kept on admirably for second, with Major Cadeaux third for Richard Hannon.
