Paul Deegan is in two minds whether to step Najm Suhail up to Group Two company on Saturday or wait for a less exacting task next week.
The Curragh trainer reports the Proclamation colt ready for his second start after making a winning debut at Dundalk in early May.
Najm Suhail holds an entry in the Group Two Dubai Duty Free Full Of Surprises Railway Stakes at the Curragh, but Deegan may hang on for a race at Leopardstown on Thursday week.
"The Railway Stakes is a possibility but he might go for a winner's race at Leopardstown next week," said Deegan.
"The race he won hasn't worked out particularly well, but he couldn't have done it any easier. He's a smart sort and his work has been good.
"He's getting a bit lazy in his work so we might run him in a set of blinkers next time. We're very happy with him and we think he's improved."
