Frozen Fakenham off after inspection
Updated: Sunday, 13 Jan 2013 10:34 | Comments
Today's meeting at Fakenham has been abandoned due to a frozen track.
Clerk of the course David Hunter called an initial inspection for 8am but decided a further check was needed at 10am.
However, he opted to call off the meeting shortly before that inspection as conditions had not improved.
He said: "I'm afraid we've had to abandon. There's been no improvement in the last two hours and the air temperature actually dropped again at around 9.30am.
"We have seen no improvement and we have called it off."
