Carberry forced to miss Naas rides

Paul Carberry was forced to miss his three intended mounts at Naas this afternoon after failing a breathalyser test.

The on-course stewards received a report from Al Guy, a doping control officer, that Carberry had failed an alcohol breath test prior to racing.

The stewards subsequently suspended Carberry from riding for the day and referred the matter to the Referrals Committee of the Irish Turf Club.
