Soul City bids for Guineas bonus

Soul City has the chance to earn more than just a Classic victory on Saturday with the colt in line for a €1million bonus should he land the Boylesports.com Irish 2000 Guineas.
He has already netted connections a fortune for winning the Goffs Million last September and the Irish sales company have pledged to double that prize for any horse that completes the double.
Soul City, trained by Richard Hannon and owned by Patrick Fahey, beat subsequent English 2000 Guineas third Gan Amhras by a snug half-length in the Goffs Million, although he was well-beaten by Curragh third Intense Focus in the Dewhurst Stakes on his final start.
'Winning the Million with Soul City was great and the bonus would be even better!' said Hannon.
'The horse is in good form and we're looking forward to coming over for the Guineas'.
