Dylan Thomas to stand at Coolmore

Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Dylan Thomas has been confirmed on the Coolmore stallion roster for duties in 2008.

As well as boasting five other Group One victories, including the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Irish Derby, he is a son of the late great sire, Danehill.

Christy Grassick, manager of Coolmore's Irish operation, said: 'We've already had numerous enquiries about him from breeders both here in Ireland and abroad so we just wanted to put everyone in the picture.

'Dylan Thomas has everything it takes to make a great stallion and Danehill is already proving a remarkable sire of sires with the likes of Danehill Dancer, Rock of Gibraltar, Dansili and Danetime all enjoying a great year on the racecourse.'

Trainer Aidan O'Brien has already paid tribute to the 'unique' attributes of the colt, who has one last racecourse challenge in the Breeders' Cup Turf this weekend.
