Beef Or Salmon, trained in Ireland by Michael Hourigan, has already proved his well-being this term by beating Cheltenham Gold Cup hero War Of Attrition in the James Nicholson Wine Merchant Champion Chase at Down Royal.
Robert Alner's Kingscliff is likely to benefit from his seasonal debut at Wetherby last month when he was fourth to Our Vic in the Charlie Hall Chase.
Paul Nicholls' exciting chaser Kauto Star figures among 14 entries for the first leg of the Betfair Million, where he will tackle three miles for the first time.
Henrietta Knight has put in Racing Demon, while Monkerhostin could represent Philip Hobbs. L'Ami, Mid Dancer and Super Bowl make up a three-strong French entry, while a second Irish possible is the Hourigan-trained Church Island.
