Geraldine Fitzgerald was diagnosed with a neurological disorder in 2006, but this has not prevented her love of equestrian competition.

Back in the saddle since 2008, she is now with Para Equestrian Ireland.

At the 2011 European Para Equestrian Championships in Belgium, Savage picked up two top-ten placings.

Savage will hope to carry her Belgium form into London where she will be competing in her first Paralympic Games accompanied by her horse Blues Tip Top Too.
