Gabriel Shelly is one of the most experienced Irish Paralympians, having competed at four Paralympic Games, five World Championships, four World Cups and three European Championships.

Shelly's career highlights so far are winning gold at Sydney 2000, a feat which was followed up by a bronze at Beijing eight years later.

Despite injury earlier this year, Shelly will be hoping for similar success at London 2012.
