Jason Smyth is the reigning T13 100m/200m Paralympic champion and world record holder.

Smyth was the first Paralympian to compete in athletics’ able-bodied European Championships (Barcelona 2010) and World Championships (Daegu 2011).

He achieved gold and world records in the Assen World Championships in 2006, but unfortunately missed out on the 2011 IPC World Championships through injury.

Visually impaired Smyth trains in Florida with the second-fastest man in history - Tyson Gay.
