Having taken the gold medal in the men’s 400 freestyle on Saturday, swimmer Darragh McDonald is back in action at the Aquatic Centre when he goes in the heats of the men’s S6 50 metres freestyle.

In equestrian circles, Heather Kearney with Mister Cool will be hoping to medal in the freestyle dressage test - Grade IA having taken silver in the Individual event on Sunday at Greenwich Park.

Kearney goes in the freestyle individual along with Geraldine Savage on her horse Blues Tip Top Too, while James Dwyer and Orlando compete in the Grade IV freestyle.

Over in the Olympic Stadium, there will be three Irish in action as James McCarthy competes in the shot put F57/58 Final, while Kilkenny’s Ray O’Dwyer is in the F34 shot put final

Orla Barry from Cork goes in the discus throw F57/58 final.

At Weymouth, sailors John Twomey, Ian Costelloe, Anthony Hegarty continue in the three person keelboat (sonar) races 7 and 8.

And shooter Seán Baldwin competes in the mixed R6 - 50m air rifle prone SH1 qualifiers at the Royal Artillery Barracks.
