Blake wins at Irish Squash Open

Ireland's Aisling Blake, the number seven seed, had a fantastic win over the current world number seven and former world number two Natalie Grinham from the Netherlands inn the Cannon Kirk Irish Squash Open at Fitzwilliam LTC.

Ireland's other female contestant also progressed to the semi-finals. Madeline Perry, seeded number one and world ranked number six, had a straight forward win over England's Victoria Lust who came through from the qualifiers.

In the men's draw, number three seed Joey Barrington of England was defeated by number five seed Chris Ryder, also of England.
