Irish on Olympics Day 15 – Times to look out for

Canoeing: Andrzej Jezierski won the C1 200m B final, meaning he finishes ninth overall at London 2012.

Rob Heffernan finished in fourth place in the Men's 50km walk with a time of 3:37:54. That time sets a new Irish record, smashing the previous record by a whopping 7:36.

Colin Griffin was disqualified from the 50km Walk.

Brendan Boyce finished 29th in the 50km Walk in a time of 3:55:01 - a new personal best.

Athletics: The two Irish starters in the women’s 20km walk were Olive Loughnane and Laura Reynolds.

Loughnane finished 13th in a seasonal best time of 1:29:39, while Reynolds’ came home in 20th after posting a personal best of 1:31:02.

Boxing: John Joe Nevin was beaten in the bantamweight final by England's Luke Campbell.

The Mullingar man lost out on a 14-11 scoreline.

Modern pentathlon: Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe was in action in the modern pentathlon.

He finished 25th of 36 competitors.
