The minister for Arts Sport and Tourism John O'Donoghue will officially open the newly refurbished Lifford Greyhound Stadium this evening. €12 million have been spent on the redeveloped complex which incorporates two restaurants, three bars and can hold 2,500 people.
Attendances are set to increase dramatically at the Lifford track which draws considerable crowds from Derry and Tyrone as well as Donegal. Racing is held on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
